SENIOR DBA ENGINEER

International Card Processing Services Ltd (ICPS), a subsidiary of HPS Group, is a global provider of advanced electronic payment solutions, supporting financial institutions, processors, and national switches with cutting-edge Switching and Card Management Systems.
We are currently looking for a Senior DBA Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Systems team. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can contribute to the performance, reliability, and continuous enhancement of our database platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth operation, performance, and availability of database systems across environments.
• Set up and maintain PRE-PROD, UAT, and PROD environments in line with operational requirements.
• Review and validate database changes, assessing potential risks and system impact.
• Contribute to the delivery of database-related initiatives and projects.
• Identify opportunities for improvement through automation and process optimization.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards, security policies, and operational procedures.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide standby and after-hours support when necessary.

Requirements:
• 3–6 years of experience in database administration.
• Solid experience working with Oracle, GoldenGate, JBoss, Unix, and Red Hat systems
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and accountability.
• Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively in critical situations.
• Clear and consistent communication of tasks and commitments.
• Experience in documenting processes and contributing to automation efforts.
• Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and evolving environments.
• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to share knowledge.
• Certifications in Oracle, GoldenGate, or related technologies are required.
• Additional systems or infrastructure certifications will be considered an advantage.
