SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME)

Job Description:
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be working as a key resource within the production environment team, with exposure across multiple banks and systems. We are looking for a Payment & PowerCARD expert to ensure end-to-end stability, operational excellence, and efficient incident resolution within a complex, multi-environment PowerCARD landscape.

Detailed Description:

• Serve as a key point of expertise for PowerCARD across production environments, supporting multiple banks and system versions.
• Ensure end-to-end ownership of production stability covering issuing, acquiring, switching, and reconciliation flow.
• Handle complex incidents and critical issues, perform advanced root cause analysis (RCA), and drive resolution.
• Ensure consistency and alignment across different PowerCARD versions, identifying gaps and managing version-specific constraints.
• Validate and control production configurations, parameters, and interfaces.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes (CAB), ensuring minimal impact on production.
• Define and enforce runbooks, support procedures, and operational standards across environments.
• Support project-to-production transitions, ensuring smooth go-live and operational readiness.
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, and improvement areas across platforms and drive continuous optimization.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling of teams, acting as the reference for best practices and PowerCARD expertise.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• 5- 10 years of relevant experience in the payments and card processing domain.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end transaction flow (authorization, clearing, settlement).
• Good knowledge of PowerCARD (issuing, acquiring, switching, reconciliation) and the payment ecosystem (Issuer, Acquirer, Scheme).
• Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Strong technical skills in SQL, log analysis, and transaction troubleshooting.
• Client-focused professional with experience in SLA management and stakeholder communication.
