NETWORK & SECURITY ENGINEER
International Card Processing Services Ltd (ICPS) is a subsidiary of HPS Group, a leading electronic payment solution for financial institutions, processors, and national switches all around the world, and provides state of art technology in Switching and Card Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of network security policies and procedures, ensuring optimal system performance and high availability.
• Administer and maintain network security services, contributing to a secure and resilient IT environment.
• Monitor and analyze performance and availability KPIs, ensuring compliance with defined service levels (SLAs).
• Contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of network and security infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches).
• Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including procedures, reports, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in security testing activities, including simulated cyber-attacks, to assess and strengthen system resilience.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve network security incidents, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
• Perform root cause analysis and support the resolution of Level 1 and Level 2 incidents.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and validation of corrective measures through testing and simulations.
• Support the evaluation and evolution of network infrastructure to meet business and capacity requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle tracking of network and security assets.
• Conduct technical and cost benchmarking of market solutions and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in managing relationships with vendors and service providers, including maintenance contracts.
• Promote and ensure awareness of security policies, standards, and best practices across teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in network and security environments.
• Strong expertise in network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, WAF), infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware ESXi), core network services (AD, DNS, DHCP, VoIP), and VPN technologies.
• Good understanding of security standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements; exposure to the payment industry is a plus.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to take ownership with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
