IT OPERATION SPECIALIST - PAYMENT SERVICES (24/7 Shift System)

About the Company
International Card Processing Services Ltd (ICPS), a subsidiary of HPS Group, is a global provider of advanced electronic payment solutions, supporting financial institutions, processors, and national switches with cutting-edge Switching and Card Management Systems.

About the role
Run IT is the production control tower of our payment processing environment. The team operates at the heart of live operations, monitoring production in real time, supervising transaction flows, executing end-of-day processing, and helping coordinate the first response during incidents. This role operates in a 24/7 shift environment and plays a key part in protecting service continuity for mission-critical banking services.
This is not a classic service desk role. Run IT is responsible for operational watch, fast detection, batch supervision, and first incident coordination. When a production issue requires deeper technical investigation, the issue is handed over to L1 and, if needed, to L2.

Key Responsibilities :
• Monitor production platforms, services, transaction flows, and operational dashboards in real time.
• Supervise ATM, API, and resource status across live environments.
• Execute and follow end-of-day and batch-processing activities according to defined schedules, procedures, and checklists.
• Receive, load, monitor, and control scheme and operational files within the production flow.
• Detect anomalies, failed jobs, suspicious behavior, or service degradation quickly and escalate appropriately.
• Act as the first operational point of contact during production incidents.
• Trigger war rooms and send first incident communications to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor service continuity status, including node health and failover-related situations.
• Work closely with L1, L2, Infrastructure, and project teams during production events and go-lives.
• Contribute to operational discipline, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement of monitoring and run activities.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong sense of discipline, reliability, and ownership.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and accurate in a live production environment
• Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift model
• Interest in production operations, monitoring, incident handling, and payment systems

Nice to have
• Experience in IT operations, NOC, command center, production monitoring, or operations control environments.
• Exposure to banking, cards, switching, ATM/POS, or payment processing operations.
• Familiarity with PowerCARD, batch operations, Unix/Linux, SQL, logs, or scripting.
• Experience in high-availability environments with strong operational discipline.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently during incident situations

For more experienced candidates
We also welcome stronger profiles for this role. Candidates with deeper experience may be considered at a more senior level if they demonstrate.
• stronger autonomy in real-time incident handling
• sound judgment in critical production situations.
• ability to coordinate effectively across teams during service-impacting events.
• stronger customer-facing communication during incidents.

• ability to coach and support more junior team members

Why this role matters
Run IT is the first operational line of defense in production. The team keeps the platform under continuous watch, ensures that critical daily processing runs correctly, and helps protect continuity of service when incidents happen. In a payment’s environment, speed, accuracy, and operational discipline matter every day.
We are open to candidates with different levels of experience. High-potential candidates who meet the core requirements are encouraged to apply, and more experienced candidates may be considered at a more senior level depending on their expertise and demonstrated autonomy.
