About the Role:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join ICPS’s Business Development team, part of the HPS
Group.
The role is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships, ensuring customer
satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and positioning HPS as a long-term trusted partner.
The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact between clients and HPS/ICPS,
coordinating internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and services in line with contractual
commitments and SLAs.
Job Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Market Presence
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients across English-speaking African and
Indian Ocean markets.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives, regulators, central banks,
and operational teams.
• Maintain strong local market presence and understanding of country-specific dynamics and
regulations
Account Growth & Commercial Development
• Identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities aligned with clients’ digital
payment strategies.
• Drive contract renewals, extensions, and commercial negotiations in line with regional
practices.
• Contribute to account plans, sales pipeline development, revenue forecasting, and long-term
account profitability.
Sales & Revenue Management
• Own and contribute to the sales and revenue budget for assigned customer accounts.
• Monitor, forecast, and drive revenue growth within the assigned portfolio.
• Ensure commercial follow-up of services until purchase orders are secured.
• Actively contribute to business development initiatives.
Service Delivery & Contract Management
• Ensure customer requests, incidents, and complaints are handled in compliance with
contractual commitments and SLAs.
• Coordinate with HPS project delivery, support, and product teams to ensure successful
implementations and ongoing operations.
• Monitor service quality, SLAs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Act as an escalation point for client issues and ensure timely resolution.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
• Track service, sales, and revenue performance indicators.
• Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities related to service delivery and revenue targets.
Team Contribution
• Provide guidance, support, and operational backup to team members when required.
• Contribute to improving collective performance and commercial results.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in customer account management, preferably
in the payment industry.
• Experience with HPS / PowerCARD products is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of customer account management, sales techniques, and
administrative/commercial operations.
• Strong customer focus with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
