DevOps Manager

About the Role:
As a DevOps Manager, you will lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and client environments to support the delivery of HPS software to project teams. You will ensure the automation, optimization, and transparency of the CI/CD process to meet service level agreements (SLAs), while also managing a high-performing team and driving strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Organization & Planning
• Oversee automation project planning, including feasibility studies and scheduling.
• Translate business needs into operational requirements aligned with implementation constraints.
• Supervise the preparation of project studies and define project execution steps.
• Validate cost estimates and establish provisional budgets..
• Assess risks, identify challenges, and propose contingency plans.

CI/CD Project Execution

• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across Aix, Casablanca, and Mauritius.
• Ensure clear documentation and specifications for project understanding.
• Define roles and responsibilities of all project contributors.
• Monitor resource usage, flag risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee the delivery of CI/CD components.

DevOps Operations Communication

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and provide project status updates.
• Organize and document follow-up meetings and steering committees.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
• Maintain dashboards for ticket tracking and prioritization.

CI/CD Process Stability & Enablement

• Resolve recurring issues to reduce DevOps support tickets..
• Promote best practices across teams to prevent operational risks.
• Manage infrastructure sizing and environment distribution plans.
• Improve CI/CD quality metrics and measurement tools.
• Develop support guides to empower other teams..

Team Leadership & Performance

• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members..
• Foster continuous skill development and performance evaluation..
• Drive team performance through clear goals, accountability, and recognition.
• Lead with strategic vision and initiative to anticipate and resolve challenges.

Profile Requirements
Education & Experience

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Experience in leading and supporting a team of around 10-15 people.

Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, NPM, Docker).
• Strong command of UNIX environments and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Java (J2EE, Spring Boot); knowledge of C, HTML/CSS, and Angular.
• Solid understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of testing practices and documentation writing.
• Familiarity with PowerCARD solutions is an advantage..

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
